There’s sun, reggae and delicious refreshment stalls to keep you going with fresh coconut water and fruits. And with the white sands of the beach right there on the finish line, what an amazing way to recover.

Angkor Wat Half Marathon

If you’re going to run the Angkor Wat half marathon, expect an early start to beat the heat – or at least attempt. Don’t worry, it is worth it for the incredible sunrise that greets you on the start line, etching the incredible Angkor Wat against the sky.

It is an absolute privilege to be able to run through this incredible world heritage site, of an empire that was built in the 12th century. it’s a hot race but an incredible atmosphere with runners from all over the world, as well as wheelchair participants, survivors of landmines left over from the Pol Pot regime.

Siem Reap is an incredible destination, so leave yourself time after the race to explore the entire Angkor Wat complex and more that this incredible country has to offer.
