About the course
Build progressively to your first 100km with a maximum of six runs per week.
The myth of ultra training is that you need to run huge long distances, you don't.
Have complete confidence with a 20 week tried and tested plan for undulating ultras.
20 week training plan delivered via Training Peaks (free to sign up to TP).
Week one total volume is 22 miles, building to a peak of 70 miles in peak week with a total of six runs per week.
Training sessions can be set up to be emailed on a daily basis via your Training Peaks account and can be accessed via an app.
From the infamous Leadville 100 miler to the stunningly beautiful Ultra Trail Mont Blanc, Australian born Lucja is an extremely experienced ultra runner.
Her feet have seen her running across the world in all kinds of terrain from Oman to the Gobi Desert, and now in Tennessee, USA where she is based.
As a qualified personal trainer, with a speciality in functional anatomy and biomechanics, Lucja is particularly interested in creating strength programmes that improve mobilty and biomechanics to help women explore further and for longer, both in distance and in their life span.
As a veteran of 200-240 mile trail races, she is also an expert in mental resilience.
Like many working mums, I find it a challenge fitting in all the triathlon training I need to do. Using this platform, I can always find a relevant workout and know that I will be using my available time to maximum effect.’
